1994
Michele Molinari founded the sole proprietorship Molinari Consulting as a consulting and engineering company in the transportation sector. In the first years the company worked mostly in projects for the former Elektrowatt Engineering in Colombia and Venezuela and for other clients in Switzerland and Asia.

1999
Molinari Consulting assumed mandates in Germany in the range of project management for rail vehicles. The activities concentrated on the Bayerische Oberlandbahn and on the retrofit of the Integral-unit. As from the year 2000, the company concentrated their activities predominantly on Europe and has acquired further customers from France, Austria and Italy.

2003
Michele Molinari founded Molinari Consulting Ltd., which took over the business of Molinari Consulting. Almost all shares of Molinari Consulting Ltd. are owned by Michele Molinari. The company expanded their range of products in the following year with the new business segment «training». At the same time, a stepwise expansion of the worldwide activities followed.

2005
Molinari Consulting Ltd. founded the subsidiary Molinari Engineering GmbH with domicile in Jenbach, Austria, which took over the former engineering team of the Jenbacher Werke/Integral Verkehrstechnik from Connex Transportation Austria. The over 50 years old tradition in rail vehicles construction at the location of Jenbach is being continued. Business location of the Molinari Group is situated in Switzerland and Austria and representations in Italy and Germany. The company comprises 50 permanent employees in Europe and holds up on a network of specialised railway engineers and transportation experts from all over the world.
